MF Wine Single Vineyard A.R. Barossa Valley Syrah 2024 is made out of 100% hand-picked grapes from a 33 year old vineyard on Biscay soil. The vineyard is located in the subregion of Bethany, an area renowned for producing more elegant and perfumed wines.
50% Whole bunches 50% de-stemmed fruit, wild fermented in in stainless steel and matured in a single French puncheon. The oak used was 6th fill, wanting to keep its impact on flavours as nuetral as possible. It matured for 18 months with monthly lees stirring adding texture, mouthfeel and length.
Bottled in February 2026 this wine is unreal. Youthful and very expressive, grippy tannin that will soften and a hint of spice on the long finish.
