Single Vineyard Barossa Valley Garnacha Blanca 2024

MF Wine Single Vineyard Barossa Valley Garnacha Blanca 2024 is made from hand-picked grapes from a single vineyard on sandy loam soil. The vineyard is in the subregion of Bethany, an area renowned for producing more elegant and perfumed wines.

This wine saw a wild yeast ferment in stainless steel with 20% whole bunches. It was then racked off to oak for maturation. Only old French oak was used, as the wine's pristine aroma was something we wanted to keep. We used sixth and seventh-fill Hogsheads and Puncheons for 6 months with lees stirring throughout. 

Bottled in February 2025 the wine has great aromatics! Fresh pristine pear and apple lead into a hint of yoghurt and Melon. The palate is just as fragrant and scented, with texture, layered and the same pear and apple combination. Rich and pure with lots of layers and just a lick of oak on the back palate. Scented length and so easy to drink!

Tasting Note:

The 2024 Single Vineyard Garnacha Blanca on the nose has huge aromatics! Upon pouring it has a lovely lemon colour, pure and star bright.

The aroma jumps out of the glass. Expressing ripe, pristine pears, apples, melon, and fresh yoghurt.

The palate is textured and rich, similar to Fiano but more layers and feeper flavours. Pure, complex and approachable. Youthful pristine green pears apples, melon, yoghurt and blossom. The length has a lick of oak with a long-scented, complex finish.
